Support Us: Ways You Can Get Involved

Are you looking for ways to do something meaningful for nature this year but don’t know where to start?

There are so many brilliant local projects working hard to protect and restore nature in this place we all love.

We’re on a mission to support even more of them in 2024, but we need your help!

As we are a relatively small charity, your involvement can make a big difference, helping us to make a long-lasting positive impact together.

Here are a few different ways you can get involved and support DEF to help us enable more grassroots projects that protect and restore nature in Devon…

 

  • Fundraising: You, your friends, or your team could fundraise to generate more funds for DEF’s projects. Ideas include events, parties, coffee mornings, sports challenges, clean ups, and more! You can find us on JustGiving or donate directly.
  • Revenue Sharing: Your or your employee’s business could donate a small percentage of sales (or £1 per transaction), to enable us to support more local nature restoration projects and enable you to share in our positive impact. Find out more here.
  • Volunteering: You, your friends, or your team could give some of your time to volunteer for one of our project partners. Get inspiration here or contact us and we will do our best to match you up with a local project.
  • Offering Services: We greatly appreciate offers of pro bono skills or services to help keep our overheads minimal, such as free printing, use of special equipment, sponsorship in kind, event hosting, advertising/media, photography and more… Please do get in touch if you have an idea of how you could help us.
  • Introducing Us: We are a small team and it’s a constant challenge trying to ensure the wider community knows about DEF and our work. You can help us by introducing us to potential donors, project partners, volunteers – anyone you think we should know!
  • Donating: Making a financial donation to DEF so we can support more projects is one of the most effective ways to help us, it’s a great way to give back, knowing your money is going to some of the most innovative and impactful grassroots nature restoration projects in Devon.
