Grants News: Our Latest Projects
We’re delighted to announce our latest round of grants awarded to the following grassroots projects protecting and restoring nature in Devon:
- Regenerative School: Funding the final piece required to enable this transformative training course to launch in Jan 2022, to grow the next generation of regenerative farmers in Devon.
- Till the Coast Is Clear: Thanks to a generous donation from one of our partners, Rockfish, we have been able to support local hero, Gary, for a second year with his mission to clean up parts of the South Devon coast that other clean ups can’t reach, via adventure beach cleaning activities using ribs and kayaks.
- Wildlife Wardens: Providing this exemplary project in Teignbridge with a second year of funds so they can continue to empower local people to create more space for wildlife in their local communities. Also enabling them to share best practice and key resources with other communities across the county via Wild About Devon.
However, this quarter we were oversubscribed with brilliant projects applying for grants from DEF and not enough funds available to support them all. Therefore, we are actively looking for partners interested in adopting or co-funding one or more projects to enable them to happen.
