New Business Partner: LHC Design
We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with LHC Design, an award-winning multi-disciplinary practice who create sustainable and beautiful buildings, urban designs and landscape architecture from their studios in Devon and Cornwall.
The LHC team are passionate about nature, so the partnership is a great fit. They will support the DEF in a number of different ways, including fundraising, volunteering time, learning, sharing expertise, and highlighting DEF’s work and impact among their network.
As both a chartered architectural and landscape practice, LHC Design has endorsed and adopted the principles of UK Architects Declare; RIBA’s 2030 Climate Challenge and Landscape Architects Declare Climate & Biodiversity Emergency. They have also become involved with more regional initiatives such as the Devon Carbon Plan, Exeter Net Zero 2030 and Plymouth’s Resurgam.
LHC’s charity team will be putting their heads together with DEF in coming weeks to explore fundraising ideas such as baking competitions, charity lunches, and sponsored challenges. They are also keen to make a practical difference, using their employee volunteer days to get stuck in helping some of our project partners on the ground.
We’re very grateful to the LHC team for their support and look foward to working together to regenerate nature in Devon.
