Harnessing the Power of Crowdfunder for DEF grantees
We’re excited to have supported our grantee, Moor Trees, with a Crowdfunder campaign this summer to raise funds to grow 34,000 new native trees on Dartmoor.
See the Moor Trees Crowdfunder.
DEF kickstarted their campaign with £5,000 and then put forward a further £5,000 as matchfunding for every £1 donated.
Aviva also provided £5,000 matchfunding… which means every £1 donated will be tripled until 29th August.
At time of writing, Moor Trees are close to hitting their initial target of £15,000… but we would love to see them hit their stretch target of £20,000 to access all the available matchfunding, and further increase woodland cover on Dartmoor.
If you (or anyone you know) enjoyed time on Dartmoor this summer and would like to give back, now is the time to donate – to triple the donation and enable Moor Trees to restore even more of Dartmoor’s woodlands.
You can donate and/or share their Crowdfunder HERE.
Thank you for any support you can give! 🙏
DEF is working with Crowdfunder’s Founder and ex-CEO, Rob Love, to learn how to run successful Crowdfunders so we can make our grants go further and give grantees the tools and techniques to raise more money from their partners and community, to secure their future financial viability.
Please join us in donating and sharing this important campaign.
